Physical Therapist Assist

Assist physical therapists in providing treatments and procedures, including administering traction for neck and back pain. Instruct and motivate patients to improve functional activities while observing responses and reporting progress to the physical therapist. Fit patients for and train them in the use of orthopedic braces, prostheses, and devices such as crutches, canes, walkers, and wheelchairs. Confer with physical therapy staff and other health team members to coordinate treatment programs. Requires a current state license, accredited program graduation, and one to two years of related experience. Per diem rate of $39.00/hour with 401k matching, credit union, and voluntary benefits.
