Physical Therapist

Conduct direct physical therapy treatment including exercise, gait training, and modalities while evaluating patients and adjusting equipment. Supervise physical therapy programs and treatments provided by Physical Therapy Workers, particularly in the absence of a Director. Record patient responses, re-evaluate physical status, and maintain communications with physicians and nursing departments. Train patient families in rehabilitation techniques and assist in setting home environment adaptations. Provide in-service education to the health care team and assist in clinical education of students.
