Job Summary
Evaluate and treat patients in accordance with licensure standards, coordinating with an interdisciplinary team to identify goals, barriers to discharge, and ongoing therapy services. The PT centers the care around the patient and exercises independent judgment in planning and organizing the plan of care. Responsibilities include orienting patients and families, documenting pertinent information, selecting appropriate evaluation and treatment methods based on patient age and diagnosis, coordinating treatment schedules, contributing to discharge planning, monitoring program effectiveness, and performing pain assessments. Requires active licensure as a Physical Therapist in the practicing state, BLS certification, and a valid driver’s license. The role emphasizes patient education, family teaching, and collaboration within the care team.
Required Qualifications
- Current Physical Therapist license in North Dakota (ND)
- Active license with North Dakota Board Of Physical Therapy
- Possession of Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (American Heart Association)
- Possession of Driver's License with acceptable driving record
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English
