Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive physical therapy evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide therapeutic interventions including manual therapy, exercise, and gait training. Assess patient progress, modify plans based on clinical outcomes, and educate patients on injury prevention and recovery expectations. Maintain accurate documentation, collaborate with physicians on case reviews, and ensure compliance with DHA, DoD, and Joint Commission policies. Support operational readiness initiatives for active-duty service members while maintaining treatment areas and adhering to infection control standards.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited physical therapy program
- Current, valid, unrestricted Physical Therapist license in any U.S. state or territory
- Minimum of one year of recent clinical experience as a Physical Therapist preferred
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Ability to independently evaluate and manage a diverse patient population
- Ability to comply with all Government credentialing, health screening, and installation access requirements
- Ability to work flexible schedules based on mission requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working in outpatient orthopedic, sports medicine, or rehabilitation settings preferred
