Job Summary
Physical Therapist (Acute) PRN at Ochsner Health in Lafayette, LA. Responsible for planning, organizing, and conducting physical therapy evaluation and treatment programs based on evaluation, assessment, and medical referral; maintaining patient care records; supporting clinical education, research, and credentialing; and contributing to program development. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy, current licensure or eligibility, and BLS. Strong communication, data-entry, and interpersonal skills; ability to adapt to department needs and participate in staff and committee projects.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
- Current physical therapy license in the state of practice or eligibility for licensure by examination or reciprocity from another state
- Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
- Proficiency with Windows-style applications and data entry
