Physical Therapist (Acute Inpatient Care)

Job Summary
Perform initial evaluations, develop individualized physical therapy treatment plans, and execute diverse therapeutic interventions including mobility training, strengthening, and modality use. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team and families while consistently meeting patient care productivity standards. Initiate discharge upon maximum benefit and educate patients, families, and caregivers on related physical therapy needs. Complete all required documentation accurately and adhere to established protocols for quality improvement and chart reviews. Maintain a current Washington State license and American Heart Association BLS certification. Requires two years of pain management experience and two years of lymphedema experience within the last five years.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy Program and completion of Clinical Fieldwork
- Knowledge and experience in rehabilitation, orthopedic, medical/surgical settings
- Two (2) years full-time experience within the last five years with caseload emphasis on physical disabilities, medical/surgical, orthopedic, or pain management
- Current Washington State license for Physical Therapy
- Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification
Desired Qualifications
- Two (2) years full-time experience within last five years recommended, with caseload emphasis acute physical disabilities, especially in the treatment of lymphedema
