Job Summary
Examine and evaluate patients across all age groups, developing effective treatment plans and measuring progress to produce optimal outcomes. Modify treatment plans as needed and educate patients on their condition. Assess and implement treatment programs for simple and complex therapy diagnoses while maintaining thorough knowledge of necessary precautions and remedial measures. Utilize Microsoft Office skills for documentation and demonstrate strong communication abilities with a proactive problem-solving approach. Requires current Florida Physical Therapy license and BLS certification.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Knowledge of Physical Therapy theory, procedures, practices and equipment
- Good communication skills
- Proactive, positive approach to problem solving
- Thorough knowledge of possible hazards/necessary precautions/remedial measures in the treatment and care of patients
- Ability to assess and implement a treatment programs for simple and complex therapy diagnoses
- Computer skills in Microsoft Office suite
- Current Florida Physical Therapy license
- BLS from the American Heart Association
Desired Qualifications
- Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy
- Experience in hospital-based rehabilitation services
- Less than one year clinical experience in area of job opening (e.g. Acute, outpatient, etc.)
