Physical Therapist - Acute Care - Rust Medical Center

Physical Therapist to join Presbyterian’s Acute Care rehabilitation team. The role focuses on hands-on care, patient education, and prescribed movement to improve quality of life across a diverse patient population. The clinician collaborates with physical therapy assistants, provides orientation and mentorship for new team members, and works toward discharge goals within an interdisciplinary team. Responsibilities include evaluating and treating patients, applying a variety of therapeutic interventions, coordinating care with other disciplines, promoting patient/caregiver self-determination, and advocating for patients to achieve the highest level of independence. New graduates are encouraged to apply, with opportunities for education, certification reimbursement, and loan forgiveness; a Doctor of Physical Therapy is preferred, with a state NM license and BLS required.
