Physical Therapist - Acute Care - Rust Medical Center

Physical Therapist needed in Acute Care rehabilitation to improve patients’ mobility and independence through hands-on care, patient education, and prescribed movement. Works with physical therapy assistants in a collaborative, patient-centered team to treat diverse patients across the life span in an acute care setting; participates in orientation and mentorship, uses EPIC charting, and contributes to discharge planning and coordination with other disciplines to optimize patient well-being. Requires knowledge of growth and development, strong documentation and basic computer skills, and a commitment to quality care; NM licensure and BLS are required, Doctor of Physical Therapy preferred; new graduates encouraged to apply.
