Job Summary
Physical Therapist for acute care and outpatient at Rochester Regional Health (UMMC Batavia), full-time day shift. Plans, organizes, and implements PT treatment programs; conducts patient evaluations; develops training in functional mobility, use of assistive devices, therapeutic exercise, balance and coordination retraining, massage, heat and cryotherapy; collaborates with interdisciplinary treatment team; supervises support personnel; leads and mentors team members; requires NY license and eligible for practice; prior PT experience recommended.
Required Qualifications
- Doctorate or Master's Degree in Physical Therapy, or Bachelor’s degree with prior experience as a licensed Physical Therapist
- Current New York State license or a limited permit as a Registered Physical Therapist
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Prior Physical Therapist experience (preferred)
- Ability to evaluate patients and develop treatment plans
- Leadership/mentorship capabilities
