Job Summary
Conduct initial assessments, treatment planning, and implementation for referred patients while maintaining accurate, timely documentation of clinical interventions and billing sheets. Administer individual treatments consistent with rehab goals, determine equipment needs, and instruct patients and families on adaptive devices. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in conferences and meetings to solve problems impacting patient care, while actively participating in staff development, precepting new employees, and leading quality improvement initiatives. Adhere to a strict schedule, meet productivity targets, and maintain punctuality for all meetings and shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of Physical Therapy
- Maintains necessary continuing education for licensure
- 1-2 years Clinical experience in a rehabilitation or acute care setting
- DC (District of Columbia) licensure of eligibility
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
