Job Summary
Examine and evaluate patients, developing effective treatment plans appropriate for their condition. Measure patient progress, modify treatment plans, and educate patients to produce optimal outcomes. Assess and implement treatment programs for simple and complex therapy diagnoses while maintaining knowledge of necessary precautions and remedial measures. Requires a current Florida Physical Therapy license, Bachelor's degree (Master's or Doctorate preferred), and BLS certification. Full-time position at a 99-bed hospital opening in September, serving all age groups with less than one year of clinical experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Knowledge of Physical Therapy theory, procedures, practices and equipment
- Good communication skills
- Proactive, positive approach to problem solving
- Thorough knowledge of possible hazards/necessary precautions/remedial measures in the treatment and care of patients
- Ability to assess and implement a treatment programs for simple and complex therapy diagnoses
- Computer skills in Microsoft Office suite
- Current Florida Physical Therapy license
- BLS from the American Heart Association
- Less than one year clinical experience in area of job opening (e.g. Acute, outpatient, etc.)
Desired Qualifications

- Experience in hospital-based rehabilitation services
