Physical Therapist - Acute Care

Provide professional physical therapy to assigned patients in an acute-care setting as part of a multidisciplinary team. Responsibilities include evaluating patients, developing and implementing treatment plans, ongoing re-assessment, and discharge planning, with direct and indirect patient care. Requires graduation from an accredited baccalaureate/post-baccalaureate Physical Therapy program, current BLS, a valid Texas license (or temporary license), and at least 1 year of licensed PT experience. Emphasizes clear communication, relationship-building, accountability, continuous improvement of patient experience, initiative for professional growth, and active contribution to a collaborative team. Locations include Allen, TX; schedule is M–F with occasional weekends and variable shifts. This is a full-time role at Methodist Dallas Medical Center, a Magnet-designated, high-performing acute-care teaching hospital with a national reputation.
