Job Summary
Physical Therapist in acute care partnering with a multidisciplinary team to provide professional and technical physical therapy services via evaluation, treatment planning, implementation, ongoing re-assessment and discharge planning. Requires a bachelor’s-level PT degree, valid Texas license (or temporary), and 1 year of licensed PT experience; BLS certification is required. Responsibilities include clear communication, relationship-building, accountability for performance, and initiative to improve patient experience and professional growth. Located at Methodist Dallas Medical Center in Fort Worth, TX; typical hours are 8:00 am–4:30 pm, M–F with occasional weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited baccalaureate or post-baccalaureate program in Physical Therapy
- Current Basic Life Support Certification
- Valid Texas License or Temporary License
- 1 year Licensed PT
