Job Summary
Physical Therapist role in Acute Care: Assess, plan, and implement rehabilitative programs to improve mobility, relieve pain, increase strength, and reduce deformity across the full care continuum. Responsibilities include developing and revising treatment plans, providing patient and family education, documenting evaluations and plans of care, coordinating discharge planning, and serving as a referral source for staff and families. Requires collaboration with physicians, adherence to regulatory standards, and commitment to ethical practice, diversity, and effective communication. Licensure in Georgia and BLS certification required; ongoing professional development and mandatory education are expected. Located in Grovetown, GA with Wellstar Health System.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors Physical Therapy or Masters Physical Therapy or Doctorate Physical Therapy
- Georgia State Licensure Upon Hire Required
- PT - Physical Therapist
- BLS - Basic Life Support
- All certifications are required upon hire unless otherwise stated
