Job Summary
Implement the physical therapy treatment plan by selecting activities to progress patients toward goals and revising plans with patient and family input. Provide ongoing education, discharge instructions, and referrals to community resources while collaborating with physicians to establish and evaluate treatment programs. Document evaluations, sessions, and family education materials according to departmental guidelines and protocols. Maintain confidentiality, adhere to ethical standards, and observe infection prevention precautions. Complete mandatory education, core competencies, and licensure requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors Physical Therapy or Masters Physical Therapy or Doctorate Physical Therapy
- All certifications are required upon hire unless otherwise stated
- PT - Physical Therapist
- BLS - Basic Life Support or ARC-BLS - Amer Red Cross Basic Life Support or BLS-I - Basic Life Support - Instructor
- Georgia State Licensure Upon Hire Required
