Job Summary
Physical Therapist in acute care responsible for daily coordination and delivery of physical therapy services to individual patients and patient groups. Evaluate patients, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and review plans of care with patients. Instruct patients, families, and caregivers in home programs or exercises; promote health and functional outcomes through targeted activities; document results and communicate with the interdisciplinary team. Oversee PT assistants, techs, and students to ensure safe patient care and efficient operations; participate in care conferences, maintain equipment proficiency, and pursue ongoing professional development within a multidisciplinary team.
Required Qualifications
- Active license to practice Physical Therapy in the state of practice (licensing board)
