Job Summary
The Physical Therapist (PT) is responsible for conducting assessments and reassessments of rehabilitation needs, planning and supervising therapeutic programs, and collaborating with the Rehab Director for care integration. Key duties include guiding patients through exercises, documenting treatment responses, participating in case conferences, and instructing agency personnel and family members in physical therapy activities. The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy, hold a Texas license, and possess two years of relevant experience. This role requires adaptability to client needs and is based in a home health setting.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a curriculum in Physical Therapy accredited/approved by the American Physical Therapy Association, or relevant committees.
- Two years appropriate experience as a Physical Therapist required.
Desired Qualifications
- Current licensed by the state of Texas to practice as a Physical Therapist.
- Experience in a home health setting
