Job Summary
The Physical Therapist (PT) conducts assessments and reassessments of rehabilitation needs, planning and supervising individualized therapeutic programs to restore physical function. Key responsibilities include conducting functional assessments, coordinating with the Rehab Director, instructing patients and family members, participating in case conferences, and supervising PTA. The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy, is licensed to practice in Texas, and has two years of experience, preferably in home health.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a curriculum in Physical Therapy accredited/approved by the American Physical Therapy Association
- Current licensed by the state of Texas to practice as a Physical Therapist
- Two years appropriate experience as a Physical Therapist
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in a home health setting
- Credentialed wound care certification
