Job Summary
Perform objective assessments and comprehensive individualized treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients under general supervision. Provide direct supervision to patients and indirect supervision to rehabilitation technicians and PT assistants in accordance with State Practice Acts. Deliver modalities while demonstrating competency in equipment used for treatment delivery. This role requires a current or temporary Physical Therapy license, a Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree, and an American Heart Association Healthcare Provider card. Candidates must possess the physical strength to lift 40 lbs, pull 60 lbs, grip 50 lbs, and pinch 15 lbs. The position offers a $20,000 sign-on bonus, full-time day shifts from Monday to Thursday, and includes medical, dental, and vision coverage.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor, Master of Science in Physical Therapy or Doctor of Physical Therapy
- Current/Temporary license of Physical Therapy in state of practice
- Must have a current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider card or complete a course within their probation period
- Must have general knowledge of evaluation and treatment principles for a diverse number and types of diagnoses
- Must demonstrate competency in equipment used for the delivery of modalities
- Must be able to push 40 lbs.
- Must be able to pull 60 lbs.
- Must be able to grip 50 lbs.
- Must be able to pinch 15 lbs.
Desired Qualifications
- Six months to one year experience
- Prefer experience with care for adult and geriatric patients
