Physical Therapist 2

Physical Therapist 2 for UW Medicine Rehabilitation at Harborview requires assessing, planning, administering, evaluating and providing safe physical therapy for a patient caseload, with progression of treatment goals, patient and family education, and collaboration with other disciplines to coordinate care from admission to discharge. Responsibilities include planning treatment programs with the patient and treatment team, documenting interventions with measurable criteria and goals, participating in team rounds, providing home programs and educational information to patients and support systems, recommending equipment needs, supervising/PTA collaboration, and educating other physical therapy staff. Requires working knowledge of disease processes, treatments, and implications of deficits; and a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent education/experience) with an active Washington state license. Shift is part-time, day shift; pay range is hourly with benefits and 90% FTE.
