Physical Security Specialist

Job Summary
Assess risk by reviewing company locations to ensure alarm, lighting, and video surveillance equipment are operational, then recommend upgrades and replacements. Manage the installation, maintenance, repair, and inventory of burglary and fire alarm equipment, surveillance cameras, and digital video recorders. Coordinate security programs including tracking money transfers, assisting with robbery response, and providing training for tellers and managers. Act as the primary contact for security vendors and system administrator for physical security controls, ensuring access management and system maintenance. Provide incident statistical reporting and loss data to management at least monthly. Requires a BA/BS degree, five years of experience, and knowledge of the Bank Protection Act; valid driver's license and frequent driving required.
Required Qualifications
- BA or BS
- 5 years experience
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented
- Ability to work and multi-task in a fast paced environment
- Ability to use a personal computer and job-related software
- MS Word - Basic Level
- MS Excel - Basic Level
- MS PowerPoint - Basic Level
- Former military, law enforcement or corporate security experience
- Knowledge of government regulations associated with physical security, bank fraud, theft, and misappropriation of funds including the Bank Protection Act
- Valid Drivers License
- Frequent driving (car, van, truck)
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
