Physical Security Leader

Job Summary
Lead physical security program for Swift Transportation sites, ensuring KNX Physical Security compliance, and deliver comprehensive support including badging/credentials, access control, surveillance (CCTV), gates, and vendor management. Oversee security staff, ensure timely delivery of security services and documentation in line with policy, manage deployments and quality of security across all hours and events, assess opportunities to improve access controls, approve installation/upgrade/replacement of equipment and systems, coordinate camera and card reader installs/repairs with Project Manager, provide after-hours coverage, conduct regular audits of security systems (Electric fences, gates, Lenel, Milestone, etc.), manage access control and CCTV, continually enhance technical and business expertise, and support organizational objectives and cross-functional security initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in Physical security required.
- Previous project management experience preferred.
- Transportation Industry experience preferred.
- Must be proficient in MS Office, Lenel/OnGuard.
- Must be able to effectively respond to sensitive issues, complex inquiries or complaints from terminals and vendors.
- Must be able to multi-task and work in high pressure situations.
- Must possess exceptional communication skills.
- Must be able to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex business documents.
- Associates degree or equivalent combination of education and/or experience preferred.
