Job Summary
PHYSICAL SCIENCE TEACHER responsible for planning, organizing and presenting instruction and environments that support student learning in physical science; manages instructional time and student behavior, presents lessons clearly with objectives, uses diagnostic information to develop objectives, maintains records of student performance, provides timely feedback, aligns instruction with school and system goals, collaborates with teacher assistants, and supports a safe, effective learning environment; requires a bachelor's degree in education or a related licensure field and NC teaching licensure; duties include preparing materials, monitoring progress, and fulfilling non-instructional duties.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in education or in a related area that will qualify for licensure as a teacher by the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction.
