Physical Plant Director - The Park at Laguna Springs

Maintenance Director role directing and performing hands-on Physical Plant tasks while leading the community’s facilities team. Responsibilities include coordinating and completing physical plant services, conducting routine preventative maintenance, managing fire drill coordination and training, establishing service schedules for equipment and systems, maintaining grounds, ensuring regulatory compliance, supervising housekeeping and maintenance staff, and performing building repairs (painting, patching, light plumbing) as needed. The role oversees the physical plant operation, including vendor/contract management, ensuring safety and regulatory standards, and facilitating communication with residents, staff, and external partners. Requires strong diagnostic/mechanical skills, supervisory capabilities, and the ability to plan, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment; travel is not required beyond on-site duties, and a 100% on-site work location is specified.
