Job Summary
Conduct one-time comprehensive medical need assessments in individual homes, providing expert recommendations for equipment, services, and care to maintain member independence. Deliver one-time medical device training to patients with peripheral neuropathy and educate them on device usage. Complete straightforward documentation through secure online portals accessible from any device. Participate in training to become a certified wearable device trainer. Requires current licensure as a Physical or Occupational Therapist, malpractice insurance, ability to lift 30 pounds and navigate varied home environments, and reliable transportation. Compensation ranges from $135 to $200 per assessment. Set your own schedule within assessment timeframes as an independent contractor.
Required Qualifications
- Current licensure as a Physical or Occupational Therapist
- Malpractice/Liability Insurance
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds, navigate stairs and varied home environments, and perform physical assessments as needed
- Reliable transportation and the ability to travel to and from member homes
- Proficient with technology: able to navigate online portals, upload documents, and use your preferred device (computer, tablet, or smartphone) for all work tasks
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills
