Job Summary
Review and analyze veterans' medical records through a secure web portal to document current health conditions. Conduct comprehensive, non-treating assessments and complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) based on VA-specific templates within 24 hours of each evaluation. Assess up to four veterans daily while ensuring all submissions are thorough and accurate. This schedule is PRN, with availability of 1-4 days per month. The role supports the VA in making accurate disability determinations for veterans.
Required Qualifications
- Active MD or DO license with a specialization in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R)
- Strong typing skills
- Attention to detail
Desired Qualifications
- Board certification in Neurological Surgery, PM&R, or Psychiatry and Neurology
- Completed two-year residency in a relevant specialty
