Review veterans' medical records through a secure web portal and conduct comprehensive, non-treating assessments to document current health conditions. Complete and submit VA-provided Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) based on specific templates within 24 hours of each assessment, ensuring thorough accuracy. Assess up to four veterans daily while maintaining focus on quality and effective time management. This independent assessment role supports the VA in making accurate disability determinations for veterans.
Required Qualifications
- Active MD or DO license with a specialization in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R)
- Strong typing skills
- Attention to detail
Desired Qualifications
- Board certification in Neurological Surgery, PM&R, or Psychiatry and Neurology
- Completed two-year residency in a relevant specialty
