Job Summary
Physiatrist to join Geisinger Musculoskeletal Institute in Danville, PA. Board-certified/board-eligible PM&R physician will collaborate with neurologists, orthopaedic surgeons, and neurosurgeons within a nationally recognized Level I tertiary referral center. Responsibilities include providing high-quality patient care, participating in cutting-edge rehabilitation research (including exoskeleton and virtual reality initiatives), and performing electrodiagnostics and ultrasound-guided procedures. Opportunities for sideline sports coverage from high school to professional levels, and a faculty appointment at Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine. Active participation in a categorical PM&R residency program and ongoing research opportunities. Excellent compensation and benefits package and a strong focus on work-life balance.
Required Qualifications
- Board-certified or board-eligible PM&R physician
- Licensed Medical Doctor in Pennsylvania
- MD/DO degree
- Participation in PM&R residency program or equivalent
- Ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary team
- Experience or interest in electrodiagnostics and ultrasound-guided procedures
