Job Summary
Physiatrist sought to join Geisinger’s Musculoskeletal Institute in Danville, PA. The role supports multidisciplinary care for patients with mobility and quality-of-life goals, engaging in cutting-edge rehabilitation research (e.g., exoskeleton and virtual reality) and potential faculty involvement with the Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine. Responsibilities include clinical care in a Level I tertiary referral PM&R setting, opportunities for electrodiagnostics and ultrasound-guided procedures, and participation in a 4-year PM&R residency program, with a strong emphasis on research, education, and collaborative care with neurologists, orthopaedic surgeons, and other subspecialties. Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
- Licensed Medical Doctor – State of Pennsylvania
- Eligibility to participate in Geisinger residency and academic programs (PM&R)
- Ability to perform electrodiagnostics and ultrasound-guided procedures (preferred)
- Commitment to patient-centered, multidisciplinary care
