Job Summary
High School Physical Education Teacher responsible for planning and delivering standards-based physical education instruction aligned with Indiana Academic Standards and district expectations. Plan and deliver PE instruction for high school students, differentiate lessons to meet diverse needs, incorporate activities across individual and team sports, promote fitness and wellness, assess student progress, maintain records, supervise gymnasiums and athletic facilities, enforce safety policies, and collaborate with colleagues to support student success. Maintain CPR/First Aid knowledge and required licensure as part of professional responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Indiana teaching license in Physical Education or appropriate licensure area.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
