Job Summary
Elementary Physical Education Teacher for W.G. Mallett/Cape Cod Hill under RSU 9. Develops and administers the elementary PE curriculum aligned with district goals; creates lesson plans and instructional materials; conducts ongoing assessment of student learning and adapts instruction for individual needs including students with special needs; maintains accurate records of student progress, grades and attendance; promotes a safe, engaging classroom environment and communicates with students, parents, and administration on progress and expectations; coordinates with other staff to evaluate and enhance curriculum; requires Maine DOE Certification Endorsement 510 in Physical Education; Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Physical Education or related discipline (Masters preferred).
