Job Summary
Physical Education Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year responsible for delivering district-approved PE curriculum, documenting student progress, creating a safe learning environment, advising parents/guardians, and collaborating with school personnel. Responsibilities include instructing students in academic, interpersonal, and daily living skills, preparing teaching materials, reporting incidents, and coordinating with instructional assistants and volunteers. Preferred coaching experience; requires using pertinent classroom technology and understanding stages of child/adolescent development; emphasizes effective communication with diverse groups and maintaining confidentiality. 190 days per school year with salary according to the District Scale for Teachers.
Required Qualifications
