Job Summary
Design, develop, organize, and implement a Social and Environmental Wellness Program tailored to each level of living at Cardinal Ritter Senior Services. Lead monthly wellness activities, coordinate inter-community events and resident trips, establish cross-department collaboration, and oversee environmental clubs for each living level. Responsibilities include providing wellness resources to residents, securing supplies, assisting with employee wellness programming, and ensuring compliance with policies and regulations. Requires a Bachelor's in Recreation Therapy or related field, 3+ years with older adults, CDL within 3 months, PAC Champion within 6 months, CPR/AED/First Aid certification, ability to manage budgets, and strong written/verbal communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Recreation Therapy or related field
- 3+ years experience with older adults
- CDL license within 3 months of hire
- PAC Champion within 6 months of hire
- CPR/AED/First Aid certification
- Experience teaching health and wellness classes
- Ability to manage Social and Environmental Wellness budget
- Knowledge of corporate and facility policies and Federal, State, and Local regulations
