Job Summary
Physiatry/Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation physician position363;telework-based independent contractor (1099) with flexible scheduling. Responsibilities include reviewing medical records, preparing clear clinical summaries, participating in peer-to-peer discussions when appropriate, and responding to client questions related to physical medicine & rehab/pain management care. No doctor-patient relationship is established and no treatment is provided; reviews are advisory only. The role supports high-quality, defensible medical determinations and offers the ability to choose workload/case types with initial training and ongoing support. Location: Sioux Falls, SD, USA; fully remote work arrangement.
Required Qualifications
- Board-Certified Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation physician
- MD or DO (medical degree)
- ability to review medical records and provide clinical summaries
- independent contractor status (1099)
