Job Summary
Review medical records and provide objective opinions on physical medicine & rehabilitation/pain management cases. Prepare clear, concise clinical summaries and participate in peer-to-peer discussions when appropriate. Respond to client questions with evidence-based medical opinions. This is a telework independent contractor role with flexible scheduling; Dane Street handles administrative workflows, case flow, and training. Initial training provided plus ongoing support and a dedicated point of contact. No doctor-patient relationship is established; reviews are advisory only. Location hint: Tacoma, WA.
Required Qualifications
- Board-certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
- MD or DO degree
- Licensed to practice medicine in the United States
- Experience reviewing medical records or providing clinical opinions (PM&R/pain management)
- Ability to work as an independent contractor (1099)
- Strong written communication for clinical summaries
- Familiarity with clinical guidelines and evidence-based reviews
