Job Summary
The role involves providing on-site physiatry and pain management services across skilled nursing and rehabilitation settings. Responsibilities include performing evaluations, diagnosing and managing musculoskeletal, neurologic, and functional limitations, developing individualized treatment plans, monitoring patient progress, and collaborating with clinical teams for effective patient care. A strong emphasis is placed on clinical judgment, documentation accuracy, and the ability to work independently.
Required Qualifications
- MD required
- Active New York medical license required
Desired Qualifications
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R)
- Experience in post-acute care, rehabilitation, pain management, musculoskeletal care, or related settings
- Strong clinical judgment, documentation, and interdisciplinary collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and manage a full-time schedule across assigned sites
