Job Summary
Physical Therapist role focused on inpatient rehabilitation with weekend scheduling, collaborating with Physical Therapy Assistants to evaluate and treat pediatric to adult patients. Responsibilities include applying a wide variety of therapeutic interventions, interpreting data, ensuring adherence to growth and development principles across the lifespan, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and driving discharge planning while advocating for patient independence. The role supports a comprehensive rehab program, with opportunities for sign-on and relocation, tuition/certification reimbursement, and loan forgiveness. Proficiency with EPIC is included in the workflow; new graduates are welcome and advancement opportunities exist within lead roles for eligible positions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
- New Mexico Physical Therapy License required or New Mexico Physical Therapy provisional/temporary license accepted
- Less than one year of experience in physical therapy
- New graduates encouraged to apply
- Doctor of Physical Therapy preferred
- BLS required at time of hire
