Job Summary
Physiatrist sought for outpatient musculoskeletal and neurologic care at Bronson Battle Creek. Responsibilities include outpatient evaluation and management of musculoskeletal and neurologic disorders, EMG and nerve conduction studies, therapeutic and diagnostic injections, Botox and other spasticity management procedures, and collaborative care with physical therapy, occupational therapy, pain management, neurology, and surgical teams. Opportunity for leadership over the Neurodiagnostics/EMG Lab, with potential for involvement in clinical research and teaching/academic affiliation with Western Michigan University School of Medicine. Board Certified or Board Eligible in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation; MD or DO required; eligible for Michigan medical, DEA and CDS licenses.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO degree with completion of an accredited PM&R residency program
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation
- Eligible for medical, DEA and CDS licenses in the state of Michigan
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centered approach
