Job Summary
Physiatrist (PM&R) needed for outpatient evaluation and management of musculoskeletal and neurologic disorders at Bronson Battle Creek. Responsibilities include conducting EMG and nerve conduction studies, therapeutic and diagnostic injections, Botox and spasticity management, and coordinating care with physical therapy, occupational therapy, pain management, neurology, and surgical teams. Opportunity for clinical research and teaching/academic affiliation with Western Michigan University School of Medicine, with potential leadership over the Neurodiagnostics/EMG Lab. Eligible candidates should be MD or DO, board certified or board eligible in PM&R, and able to obtain medical, DEA, and CDS licenses in Michigan. Strong patient-centered communication and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team are emphasized.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO degree with completion of an accredited PM&R residency program
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation
- Eligible for medical, DEA and CDS licenses in the state of Michigan
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centered approach
