Job Summary
Physiatrist (PM&R) sought for outpatient opportunities at Bronson Battle Creek. Responsibilities include outpatient evaluation and management of musculoskeletal and neurologic disorders, performing electromyography (EMG) and nerve conduction studies, therapeutic and diagnostic injections, Botox/spasticity management, and collaborative care with physical therapy, occupational therapy, pain management, neurology, and surgical teams. Leadership opportunity over the Neurodiagnostics/EMG Lab with potential for clinical research and academic affiliation with Western Michigan University School of Medicine. MD or DO with PM&R residency completed; board certification/eligibility required; Michigan medical, DEA, and CDS licenses available. Location: Battle Creek, MI. Ability to pursue leadership and academic activities within Bronson Healthcare Group and affiliated systems.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO degree with completion of an accredited PM&R residency program
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation
- Eligible for medical, DEA and CDS licenses in the state of Michigan
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centered approach
