Job Summary
Physiatrist (PM&R) sought for outpatient practice at Bronson Battle Creek to lead outpatient evaluation and management of musculoskeletal and neurologic conditions, perform EMG/nerve conduction studies, therapeutic/diagnostic injections including Botox for spasticity, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. Opportunities include potential clinical research and teaching/academic affiliation with Western Michigan University School of Medicine, with a leadership role over the Neurodiagnostics/EMG Lab. Candidates should be Board Certified or Board Eligible in PM&R and eligible for Michigan medical, DEA, and CDS licenses; strong communication and patient-centered care are essential.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO degree with completion of an accredited PM&R residency program
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation
- Eligible for medical, DEA and CDS licenses in the state of Michigan
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centered approach
