Physiatrist Physician (Physician )

Evaluate, plan, and implement rehabilitation programs to enhance mobility, alleviate pain, and prevent deformities while adhering to regulatory standards. Collaborate with physicians to develop and update treatment programs, care plans, and discharge plans based on patient needs. Select appropriate activities to help patients achieve goals, provide ongoing education, and give discharge instructions and referrals to community resources. Document evaluations, treatment plans, and each session according to departmental guidelines. Serve as a resource for staff, families, and physicians regarding rehabilitation services and equipment. Use materials and equipment safely, follow infection prevention protocols, and participate in the orientation and training of new employees.
