Job Summary
Physiatrist sought to manage outpatient musculoskeletal and neurological conditions and provide inpatient rehabilitation for Veterans. Responsibilities include performing musculoskeletal/soft tissue injections, shaping interdisciplinary rehab plans to maximize function, mentoring trainees, contributing to program development, and delivering evidence-based care with a focus on safety and quality. The role supports teaching, academic involvement, clinical research, and funded CME within a multidisciplinary PM&R team at VA Long Beach Health Care System. Location: VA Long Beach, CA; schedule is a Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–4:30 pm covered by a comprehensive federal benefits package and potential recruitment/relocation incentives.
Required Qualifications
- Board Eligible /Board Certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R)
- Eligible for a full and unrestricted U.S. medical license
