Job Summary
Physiatrist needed for locum tenens inpatient rehabilitation coverage in Rhode Island. Provide comprehensive inpatient physical medicine and rehabilitation services including consultations, patient rounding, and management of admissions and discharges. Day shifts with call and 24-hour call responsibilities; must be board-certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Location: on-site in Warwick, RI with hospital-based support staff (1 NP, hospitalists). Case load 14-18 per day; adult patient population; prescriptive authority not required. Assignment type is locum tenens/inpatient with ongoing coverage needs.
