Physiatrist/Medical Doctor

Provide direct and indirect patient care using the Practice of Physical Therapy Act/Rules process, including evaluation, treatment planning, implementation, ongoing re-assessment, and discharge planning for assigned patients. Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to deliver professional technical physical therapy while maintaining clear communication and building relationships to promote a collaborative environment. Always look for ways to improve the patient experience, take initiative for professional growth, and remain accountable for performance. Work 8am-5pm, Monday through Friday, with occasional weekends. Methodist Dallas Medical Center is a 595-bed acute care teaching and referral hospital featuring the only adult Level I Trauma Center in southern Dallas and the first and only Certified Comprehensive Stroke Center in the region.
