Physiatrist / Interventional Fellowship-Trained Physician

Job Summary

Examine patients for physical therapy needs, diagnose pain from injuries or disabling conditions, and implement treatment plans including trigger point, soft tissue, and joint injections. Lead a team of medical professionals to optimize care, monitor patient progress, and adjust plans as necessary. Perform or oversee electrodiagnostic testing (EMG-NCV), order imaging such as X-rays and MRIs, and prescribe orthotic devices while documenting ranges of motion. Counsel patients and families on lifestyle adaptations and coordinate consultations with specialists. Maintain complete medical records and manage patient care across all ages. Full-time position with W2 base salary commensurate with experience ranging from $300k to $350k annually.

Required Qualifications

  • M.D./D.O.
  • Board-Certified or Board-Eligible with American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (ABPMR)
  • Experience working in an outpatient Musculo-skeletal practice preferred.
  • Knowledge about the different types of physical rehabilitation treatments and programs for different injuries.
  • Ability to treat patients of all ages.
  • Experience with injections and writing prescriptions.
  • Working with patients on determining pain management strategies
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Wonderful bedside manner.
  • Excellent communicator who can empathize with patients.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients.
  • Effective interpersonal skills, problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to understand the urgency of the needs of your patients.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, personable, compassionate.
  • Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience working in an outpatient Musculo-skeletal practice preferred.
