Job Summary
Treat a spectrum of illnesses and injuries for pediatric and adult patients, performing GYN exams and minor office procedures including sutures, I&D, reduction, and splinting of fractures and dislocations. Manage daily urgent care operations with a broad clinical skill set required for both pediatric and adult populations. Work day, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts under a rotation schedule requiring every other weekend. This role is situated at a not-for-profit, under-served community site in Southeastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island, offering opportunities for loan forgiveness and continuing medical education allowances.
Required Qualifications
- Medical degree from an accredited institution
- Board certification/eligibility in Emergency Medicine or Family Medicine
- Current state medical license and DEA registration
- Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired
- Must be qualified to treat a spectrum of illnesses and injuries for pediatric and adult patient population
- A broad range of clinical skills including GYN exams and minor office procedures including sutures, I&D, reduction and splinting of fractures and dislocations
- Demonstrated clinical excellence, patient satisfaction, and effective communication skills
- Every other weekend
