PHYS THERAPY ASST

Administer treatment programs for physical therapy patients under licensed physical therapist supervision while monitoring progress and modifying plans. Document patient progress in medical records, provide input for discharge planning with other health professionals, and involve patients and families in education and goal setting. Maintain and update patient documentation in accordance with professional guidelines, meet established targets for treatment ratios and quality measures, and serve as a resource for support staff and PTA students. Participate in quality improvement initiatives, complete required annual education assignments, and perform other duties as assigned.
