PHY System Engineer

PHY System Engineer duties include working on the PHY and system aspects of Cisco Silicon One devices, developing PHY firmware and system calibrations, and participating in system definitions, operations, and post-silicon validation. You’ll contribute to next-generation network devices in a startup-like atmosphere within Cisco, aiming to advance high-speed, programmable silicon architecture for Cisco’s routing products, with emphasis on scalable, power-efficient, and feature-flexible designs. Key skills include strong experience in C++, Python, and Matlab, and a background in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science with 7+ years of relevant experience.
